Hello! I'm Bee, an Egpytian eighteen year old digital artist focusing on digital illustration, character design, and story concepting located in Toronto, Canada. I'm mostly self-taught with occasional art classes throughout my artistic career. I currently do freelance artwork and commissions for other small story concepting groups. I'm currently working on building my portfolio, but I've done illustration for many Discord servers for their branding, illustrations for the characters others make, and alike. In my free time, I like to create artwork surrounding my story concept, "Reversed," which I have been working on for five years now! My digital illustration focuses on themes of culture change, immigration, flaws in the legal system and policing systems, trauma, and critiques of culture, specifically religion, being used to harm others. Many of these themes have personally effected me or I am very passionate about! Not all of my artwork focus on these, well, very deep and sensitive topics, though!
Since my primary medium of artwork is digital illustration, I use Procreate for my artwork. But, I also have experience in many other programs and apps for art creation including other raster-based illustration programs and video-editing programs. I have significant experience in countless traditional mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, marker, colored pencil, and alike. I like to be able to explore my artistic options as much as I can!
Art has been my passion since I was young and I have always loved depicting my imagination in a physical way. I have been drawing since I was a child, and I hope to continue to grow as an artist!
